IT Department Guide

An organizations IT department personnel are needed to support the operations of the Dashboard by deploying OA agents to user computers and maintaining the server.  The IT department can also be used to update billing information and make sure that data is being collected.  OfficeAutomata collects data on users' system status and can support IT operation by identifying slow devices.  

• Home - Status

- System

The IT department can use the Status - System page to access the condition of the company's or user's computers.  System is a score given to devices based on average GPU, CPU, Memory and Storage usage.  If a system score is low then the IT department should consider replacing that device. 

• Admin

The Admin section of the Dashboard will be the main section that the IT department will be needed for.  The IT department may be responsible for the Dashboard settings found in the Config tab.  They may also be responsible for the Company tab in the Admin section.  

- Company Panel

Use the Company panel in the top horizontal navigation of Admin section to fill out billing information.  If you are using a free version of OfficeAutomata, this will allow us to bill your organization automatically after you unlock a task or process.
